What I work on

Four problems I keep getting hired for.

Some people call this AI consulting. Some call it AI implementation. I call it operations because that is what the work is.

Four shapes of work keep coming up. They come from established small businesses with operating teams running multiple departments. The AI work does not yet have an owner inside the building. The scoping engagement is the on-ramp. Everyone starts there. The build engagements and the fractional partnership are what comes after.

Internal admin

“Too much of our team’s day is going to admin.”

I see this one in every operation I walk into. The office manager juggling three calendars, the bookkeeper categorizing the same kinds of transactions every Friday, your director of operations writing the same shape of update every month. The repetitive middle of the work is eating the people you most need on the actual judgment calls.

Every judgment call, every signature, every “is this right” moment stays with the person who should make it.

Outbound and opportunities

“My business needs to grow but my team doesn’t have time.”

There’s growth work that needs to happen at a scale you can’t staff for: overnight outbound that finds the right contacts, drafts personalized email in your voice, and logs everything to a sheet you wake up to. Investor or buyer or referral-partner matching. Opportunity-sourcing pipelines that scan for grants, RFPs, and pitch competitions. Growth work that runs while the team sleeps.

Nothing goes out under your name without your review and approval.

Ongoing partnership

“We worked together on a build. What’s next for the systems we built?”

You did the scoping. We did the build. Your team is running the operating layer day-to-day. But the business keeps moving, the AI tools keep improving faster than anyone can track alone, and the systems we built need to evolve. This tier is the ongoing partnership where I stay close to the operation, add new pipelines as the work shapes shift, retire what isn’t earning its slot, and train your internal owner toward eventual self-sufficiency.

You stay the operator-in-chief. I’m the partner who keeps the AI layer current.

Methodology

The AI handles the 80% that drags. You keep the decisions.

Three rules underneath every system I ship as an AI consultant who builds the work, not just diagnoses what to build.

Human-in-the-loop.Nothing goes out without your eyes on it. The AI does the repetitive middle. Every judgment call, every signature, every “is this right” moment stays with the person who should make it.

Maximum benefit, least complication. I’d rather ship one thing your team actually uses than five things that sit unused in a Notion doc. The simplest build that does the job is the right build.

Designed for the brains you have. Linear-focus tools lose the people who don’t run on tidy checklists. I build for ADHD, neurodivergent, and any operator whose brain doesn’t follow a perfect sequence. My own included.

What is AI saying about your business?

ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, and Gemini already answer buyers’ questions about businesses like yours. Most owners have never seen what those answers say. This free tool shows you, right inside Claude.

From clients

What they say.

Honestly blown away by the depth of the report she created for me. It didn’t just feel like generic AI output. It genuinely reflected my goals, background, personality, and long-term vision.

Julianne Voights

Kari asks great questions that get underneath the surface. She helped me think more clearly about what people actually want from my work, how to communicate the value of what I do, and how to build systems that support both my audience and my business.
